Welcome to My Quest

It's the first few lines of anything that are the hardest to write.

Bah! Who needs it?

I've started a new life. As cliched as that sounds -- it is true. I will fill you in as we go along but for now in keeping with one of the themes of my new life -- easy living -- I've decided not to write a long introduction. Probably just bore you anyway.

Instead I will save the introductions and background -- yada yada -- for later and jump right into the Blog.

Yes, I have started a new life. And new lives need quests and quests need guides. I bought my first guidebook on my last day of my old life. I will surely buy more guides as I go along -- but my first New Life Guidebook is:

This Blog is all about the 1,000 Places book and my quest to live life to the fullest .

I'm going to set out to see all 1,000 places listed in the book.

I'll just explain as we go along. Stick with me.
